This is where I started making a storyboard of the main events of what the character is doing

The Process of making a fairy out of pipe cleaners

Buying a pack for blue and a pack for pink, I've decided to make two fairies

The blue one will be a step by step of how I have made a fairy out of pipe cleaners.

Firstly,  to start making one I have used a pompom as a head, wrapped by one wire equally on the half to attach to the torso of the body while this will be also connected to the arms and legs and be wrapped over.

Then once you finished making the base with one colour, you can start making different forms of your figure's clothing of any colours

(Optional) if you want to make movable wings to make them raise and close, I used an extra wire on their back, this could be the same. our as your figure's clothing if you don't want to make it visible.

You can also try make different forms for your character's head or accessories such as a hat. :)

Moving on to creating the top part of the wing of any shape (optional on how many parts you want with any colour and shape)

Then moving on with same as the one before but for my bottom part of the wing, which is the one I decided to make smaller.

Setup at my white chair with play-doh as to play around with different forms

The reason why I chose to make them out of pipe cleaners is because it will be easier and let me have a free hand to easily move their parts for different/ change of poses.
